The Drink
The sophisticated American-French cuisine served at Monettes is complemented by an award-winning wine cellar featuring more than 1,100 labels of specially selected bottles. Monettes is the only retaurant on Hawaii Island to be honored with Wine Spectator's 2011 "Best of Award of Excellence," and is one of just five restaurants in the state to be recognized. |

The Experience
Chef Michael Minshull brings 17 years of culinary and hotel restaurant management experience to Monettes Artisan Fish and Steak, including work with several Mobile Four-Star properties and recipients of Wine Spectator “best awards of excellence”. Most recently, Chef Minshull served as Chef and Sommelier at the Hotel Grand Pacific in Victoria, British Columbia. Prior to that, he was Executive Chef at Dock 503 Waterfront Dining in Sidney, B.C. In June 2009, Chef earned his Sommelier Diploma from the International Sommelier Guild in Victoria, B.C. |
